Lincoln Cross Country 300 Kubota Cc/Cv Welder Generator (K4166-1)

The Lincoln Cross Country 300 Kubota CC/CV Welder Generator (K4166-1) is built around the pipeliner's priorities: a compact, lightweight design that fits a truck bed, constant current and constant voltage control that stays simple to operate, and an arc that was tuned by working pipeline welders rather than only in a lab. Who it's built for Lincoln builds this generator against each order rather than keeping it in stock, so a several-week wait between order and delivery is normal. Once in service, dual continuous controls keep the arc easy to tune across root, fill, and cap passes, and the control layout was kept deliberately sparse, on the reasoning that fewer dials mean fewer things to go wrong out in the field. Access doors that slide open on both sides of the engine, along with battery jumper studs placed within easy reach, were built with roadside and jobsite maintenance in mind. Power and runtime A 4-cylinder, water-cooled Kubota diesel meets EPA Tier 4 emissions rules and drives both DC welding output and AC generator power, available as either single-phase or three-phase, for running grinders, pumps, and trailers. Fuel capacity of 11.6 gallons translates to about 38 hours at low or no idle, or roughly 9 hours of continuous welding at 300A. At 1,034 lbs, with a footprint near 31.9 by 25.3 by 56 inches, it is sized to ride in a truckbed without blocking the rear window. Common questions Is this kept in stock? No, Lincoln builds it to order, so expect a wait measured in weeks. What generator power does it provide? Peak three-phase output reaches 12,500 watts, with 11,000 watts continuous; single-phase tops out lower. This welder carries a Proposition 65 notice, standard for equipment of this kind sold in California.
