300 MP Welder/Generator

The Lincoln SAE 300 MP Welder/Generator arrives in painted gray steel as a multi-process pipe welding engine drive, with a factory-installed wireless remote for controlling the machine from a distance. What it's for A Kubota diesel engine with three water-cooled cylinders at 1800 RPM, meeting EPA Tier 4 requirements, powers this unit. The wireless remote works up to 400 feet away and can activate the glow plug or choke for one to 30 seconds, start or stop the engine, switch between high and low idle, and fine-tune the current control. The control panel's pair of dials gives precise, continuous voltage and current adjustment for pipe welding, with the arc adjustable between a digging character for root and hot passes and a softer, buttery arc for fill and cap passes. What to check before buying Maximum output on this unit is rated at 350 amps, with a duty cycle of 60 percent at 300 amps and 100 percent at 250 amps; confirm the exact amperage you plan to run against that duty-cycle rating before ordering. Weighing in at 1,432 pounds, it runs single-phase DC output, so plan your truck bed or trailer space with that in mind. What comes with it Beyond the wireless remote, the control panel includes a fuel gauge, and the machine is intended for pipeline, construction, and maintenance and repair use. It carries a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
