Bobcat 260 LP Kohler Welder/Generator

This propane-fueled welder/generator is built for stick and flux-cored work around a farm, ranch, or construction site, with a rated output of 250 amps and a 100 percent duty cycle at that full output. It does not have remote start/stop functionality, so it is operated directly at the machine. Design details that affect day-to-day use The engine sits rotated toward the front of the unit, which Miller designed to improve airflow and cut sound levels compared with earlier models, making it easier to work near occupied buildings or run early or late in the day. Maintenance points are arranged for access from the top and front of the case, with tool-less panels, and the fuel fill plus oil drain and filter are all reachable from one side, so routine service does not mean working from multiple angles. Specification checks Rated for industrial and light-industrial single-phase use, AC/DC polarity Suited to beginner through career-welder skill levels Shipping weight is 501 pounds; Miller covers this new unit for 3 years A ten-degree skewed-rotor generator design is meant to deliver smoother power rather than spiking under load Because this unit runs on propane rather than gasoline or diesel, confirm your site has a suitable LP supply and storage setup before ordering. Can I start this unit remotely? No, this model does not include remote start/stop. Is it rated for continuous welding at full output? Yes, duty cycle is listed at 100 percent at the full 250-amp rating.
