Built specifically for Hobby Stock competition, this 360 cubic-inch small-block Chevy crate engine runs 9.0:1 compression on a seasoned, stock four-bolt-main block with a Scat crankshaft and matching rods, dyno verified before it ships with its own dyno sheet. What's built in Pistons are Keith Black units, with a Mahle upgrade offered. A custom camshaft and roller-tip rockers work the valvetrain, cylinder heads are machined to this shop's own "EQ" specification, a Champ-style oil pan and HEI distributor are fitted, and the intake pairs with a Rochester-style carburetor that is not included; you supply your own. Lash and timing are set individually on each engine, and piston rings are seated through the shop's own dyno break-in program.
