Mercury 200XL SeaPro Commercial

This used 200XL SeaPro Commercial swaps Digital Throttle & Shift for remote mechanical controls, sold separately, while keeping the same 200 hp V6 powerhead and 25 inch shaft as its DTS-equipped sibling. Steering can be set up hydraulic, power, or Big Tiller, and the electric starter runs with SmartStart protection engaged every time it fires. At 483 lbs dry, it sits at the light end of this SeaPro weight class, per Mercury's own figures. Rated for commercial service Mercury restricts this SeaPro rating to commercial applications: fishing vessels, workboats, and law-enforcement duty rather than recreational boating. The heavier internals are sized for sustained, high-rpm global commercial operation rather than intermittent weekend use, and Mercury builds corrosion protection into the warranty specifically for commercial operators who run their boats in salt water for a living. What to check before you order Because remote mechanical controls and your choice of steering hardware are both sold apart from the powerhead, match them to whatever your helm already runs before placing an order. This unit is sold used, so ask about logged hours and service records ahead of purchase rather than assuming a commercial rating means light wear. What coverage comes with it? Mercury's standard commercial warranty runs for an unlimited number of hours within a two-year term, with added protection against corrosion called out specifically for commercial users on this SeaPro rating. Will it run as a counter-rotating twin? Counter rotation is not specified for this XL configuration, so confirm rotation and pairing with us before ordering if that is part of your plan.
