Honda 115HP iST | BF115JLDA WT

The Honda BF115JLDA WT is a new 115 hp four-stroke outboard built on a 20-inch shaft, run through Honda's iST electronic shift-and-throttle system, and finished with white cowlings instead of the standard color. Shaft and controls Honda sizes this motor for a 20-inch transom, so confirm that measurement against your boat before ordering, since mounting height changes how deep the propeller runs once it is loaded in the water. The four-cylinder powerhead displaces 2354cc and feeds through EFI, with Honda listing the full-throttle operating window at 4500-6000 rpm. Starting is electric, with no pull cord to fall back on. Because iST runs shift and throttle through an electronic module rather than a mechanical cable, the wiring back to the helm needs to suit that system, so verify your control head is iST-compatible before assuming a standard cable will do the job. Finish and what's included The white-cowling finish only changes the color of the outer covers; the powerhead, shaft, and iST controls underneath are the same hardware as any other BF115JLDA Honda builds. Standard equipment on this unit covers a charging system for keeping the battery topped up, a fitting that flushes the cooling passages with fresh water after use, power-operated trim and tilt, and a printed owner's manual. A propeller is not included, so budget for one sized to your boat and typical load before you can run it. Listed weight is 478 lbs, and Honda backs the engine for 5 years from the date of purchase. Common questions Is a propeller included? No, order one separately to match your boat and the load you carry. Does the white finish change anything mechanical? No, it only changes the color of the cowling panels.
