2023 Suzuki 250HP DF250APX2

The 2023-dated DF250APX2 listing carries the Nebular Black finish of Suzuki's 250 HP V6, the same 245.6 cubic inch platform used across this family. What hasn't changed 639 lb is the figure here, carried on a 25-inch shaft, with 54 amps of charging capacity on tap. Confirm your transom measurement against that shaft length before ordering, since it does not shift between model years in this line. Rotation and rigging Standard and counter rotation remain available here, so this suits either a single-engine boat or one half of a matched twin set, with a counter-rotation partner spinning the opposite way to keep a twin-engine boat tracking straight. This motor uses Suzuki Precision Control for electronic throttle and shift, while trim and tilt move at the touch of a button rather than a hand crank. Power delivery and care Electric start gets the engine going, and the V6 delivers 250 HP across its operating range without a manual backup starter at this size. A built-in flushing port lets you run fresh water through the block after time spent in salt water, a habit worth keeping up every season. Common questions Does the newer listing date mean different specs? No, weight, shaft and alternator output match the earlier DF250APX2. Is counter rotation an option? Yes, alongside standard rotation, for a matched twin install on either side of the transom.
